Improvement Needed
This photo is too over exposed and does not focus on the blue of the sign. If I was to retake the photo I would adjust my settings so it wasn't over exposed
This photo is just out of focus on the orange bin bags so the subject that I wanted to focus on is out of focus. If I was to re-take the photo I would make sure it was in focus.
AO3: Record ideas, observations and insights relevant to intentions, reflecting critically on work and progress.
The majority of these photos turned out as I wanted, I manage to achieve a good series of images that I happy to use. My intention with this shoot was to shoot images that contained a subject with a primary or vivid colour so I could link it with Martin Parr, his images has a large contrast overall so I would have to develop them further to achieve his style. With these photos I want to use photoshop to create more contrast to link the photos more to the work of Martin Parr.

AO2: Explore and select appropriate resources, media, materials, techniques and processes, reviewing and refining ideas as work develops.

With this photo I want to change the contrast using curves within photoshop and change the saturation using the hue/saturation tool within photoshop.

I adjusted the saturation and contrast to try and create a Martin Parr style. I reached this image and I felt it matched his style.
This photo has a high saturation but the cherries do not have a high enough saturation compared to Martin Parr, to make the photo more like his style I will use the hue/saturation tool to change the saturation then go on to change the contrast with curves.

I changed the contrast and saturation to match the style of Martin Parr and eventually recently this photo that I felt was close to his style.
This photo has a good range of colours but does not have the saturation similar to Martin Parr, I am going to change the saturation with photoshop and edit the contrast.

I adjusted the contrast and saturation until I reached this image that matched Martin Parr's style.
With this image I want to use photoshop to bring out the open sign's colours using the hue/saturation tool. Also using curves to bring the image closer to the style of Martin Parr.
I raised the saturation and adjusted the contrast using curves creating an image that was similar to the style of Martin Parr.
AO1: Develop ideas through sustained and focused investigations informed by contextual and other sources, demonstrating analytical and critical understanding.
AO4: Present a personal and meaningful response that realises intentions and, where appropriate, makes connections between visual and other elements.

Develop this post further to elevate the grade from C to B. To link you work with M. Parr further work with people and colour as a documentary will be required.
